This Peony plays with contrast and sarcasm to step out of the shadows.
I used the Mezzotint technique on 300 gsm cotton paper, enhancing depth and richness in every detail. I then added a screen-printed layer with metallic ink, creating an additional dimension that allows the artwork to communicate through light and texture.
Printed at Stamperia d'Arte Busato in Vicenza, with screen printing done at Print Club Torino. Each print is hand-signed, ensuring uniqueness and craftsmanship. Size 24x36 cm.
